About the book
The third in the series of funny short stories written by ZS and published in paper-back. It follows loosely on his previous books and is mainly focused on travel, including such stories as How I collected olives in the garden of a millionaire, The uninvited visit in Adam’s garb, How an Austrian lady of Czech origin kept a Chilean in Sweden, I was in the epicentre of the first nuclear explosion, The theatre of one viewer, The humid Šumava depth, The bridge on one single pillar, and My little hands will just not work.
In one story the little tick tells the story of its difficult life. Also described is the life of small Mediterranean flies through the eyes of one male and one female specimen – an interesting parallel of their behaviour and that of us human beings.
